BB&T Sports Campaign

Animated ads for sports promotions.

BB&T is a national top 10 financial institution that has always invested in community and sports programs. As a sponsor for Atlantic Coast Conference TV broadcasts, the bank offered my team the unique opportunity to punt traditional financial messages and focus instead on the fun and excitement of college sports. The concept for the TV campaign begins and ends with the bank's square burgundy logo, and in between captures iconic sports imagery that moves to the beat of a hyperactive marching band. The spots were developed with the production/editing shops Untitled/Nomad and director Glenn Martin, who created the dancing silhouettes for the original Apple iPod spots. In addition, the campaign included online display ads to drive participation for a Facebook fan photo challenge.
